Welcome to West Sacramento Soccer Club

Parents and Coaches:

West Sacramento Soccer Club invites all of its current members (parents of players and coaches) to vote for nominees running for the 2018 West Sacramento Soccer Club Board. There are five board positions that will be elected this year. Nominations have been submitted and are now closed so we can prepare for election night, see below for details.

Election Night
Date: Tuesday, December 19, 2017
Time: Anytime between 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Location: Roundtable Pizza (West Sacramento)

When you arrive, you will check-in and receive a paper ballot with names of those running for each specified position. You simply check off whom you would like to vote for and turn it into the designated area. It’s as simple as that and only takes a few minutes. Voting closes at 7:00 pm. New board members will be posted on our website and the 2018 Board will convene in January of the New Year. Remember, this is your opportunity to be an active part of your club.

Thank you

Coaches, thank you for a wonderful season. We will be collecting equipment/balls this Thursday 11/30/17 at Bryte Park between 6:00-7:30 pm. Please return equipment to Rico or Memo. If you are unable to return this day or are participating in tournaments please contact equipmentmgr@westsacsoccer.org to make other arrangements.

As the season ends the board will start preparing for next year.  We will start by taking nominations for five positions on the board; those positions are Vice President, Treasurer, Equipment/Field Manager, Head Referee, and Rec Head Coach. If you are interested in one of these positions please email the club at wsscscores@gmail.com, or feel free to nominate someone of your choosing. If you are nominating someone other than yourself please include their contact email or number so we can reach out to them. All nominations need to be to the Club Secretary no later than December 10, 2017.

Thank you!

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a prominent figure in the West Sacramento Soccer Community. Sarah Najarro was a strong, unselfish person who made a difference in our community with hard work and by donating countless hours, and years to make sure our children were given a chance to play soccer.  She had a positive impact on people through her generosity.  Our soccer program wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for people like her and all of those who chose to give back to their community. Sarah will be greatly missed.
