Field Set up and Take down Procedures
Home team is responsible to set up and take down the fields.
First, if you have the first game of the day (9:00 am) you will need to arrive early enough to set up your field. That means moving goal posts to the proper place, putting flags up and putting nets up. If you are a coach for U6-U8 you will only need to set up the PUGS. All field equipment will be picked up from the shed.
Second, if you are the last game on your field (check with President or Referee) please make sure all goal posts are pushed back and can be locked up and nets, flags, and game balls are returned to the shed. Field 6 goal posts are to be wheeled to the East side fence towards the school. They are to be pushed flush against the fence in an upright position and next to one another so we can lock them up. Field 1, 2, 4, and 5 are to be pushed to the South fence along Carrie Street. Field 7 can be left alone for the Sunday games for the city. Nets are now color coded for age groups: red is u10, blue is u12, and white is u14+. They are specific to the size of the goals. Each box of nets includes: 2 nets, 6 stakes, and 15 bungees (should only need about 12).
U6-U8 are to put the pugs out if first game and put them away if last game (please ask someone if you are not sure if you are last game). All pugs are to be returned to the shed.
In order to succeed and continue to purchase higher quality equipment, we need to keep track and care for the things we have. We are growing each year as a club and would like to give the kids the best experience while with our club so please help us keep things in order.
